Hello and thank you for visiting my website.
My name is Enda Murphy. I am a freelance copywriter and communications consultant based in Barcelona, with over 15 years of experience working for global organizations.
I launched Greenline Communications in 2011, offering writing, editing and communications services to international organizations.
The name Greenline reflects my passion for making connections between sustainable businesses and their customers.
My diverse educational background helps me make these connections: I have a bachelor's degree in journalism (University of Dublin), and a master's in urban studies (University of Amsterdam), which means I'm very audience-focused and also good at crafting meaningful messaging. To drive the change that you want to see.
Prior to setting up Greenline Communications, I worked as an HR communications editor at the global headquarters of Philips in Amsterdam. And before that, I worked as a freelance journalist contributing to the likes of the Financial Times, The Economist and the Irish Business Post - along with several trade publications in the transport sector.
As an Irish citizen living in Barcelona, practically all of the assignments I do have an international angle. Depending on the nature of each assignment, I spend most of my time working remotely or working on-site across Europe in response to each customer's needs.
WHAT I DO
Content creation and project management for print, online and internal communications
As a content creator, I offer content writing and editing across the full range of media:
- Print media - industry trend reports, news articles, long-form copy.
- Online media - corporate website content, blog posts and social media
- Internal communications media - everything from news articles to strategy messages, e-mails, posters, video scripts, webcasts, and more.
Besides writing, I also manage full end-to-end delivery of communications projects where needed. This often means working together with you and your colleagues in a team environment, or collaborating with fellow writers and designers from my own network who share my passion for high-impact communications.
As a side gig, I do media training for corporate executives, delivered in partnership with a bespoke UK-based media training agency.
Last but not least, as a native English speaker based in Spain, another of my niches is translation. I translate from Spanish into English for international Spanish organizations that rely on top-quality translation with the human touch.
